Arrival was a risky movie to act out and portray but that didn’t stop the cast from doing a great job.  Dennis Villeneuve comes up with this brilliant idea to portray humans’ first contact with aliens, which won’t be the first film to do so. The good thing about the movie was it’s contemplative texture and giving viewers what to think about. You are drawn into the grief,  the ideology of hope and the ability for humans to progress as a species. Director Dennis Villeneuve had some interesting ideas, the movies gathered into a sporadically incoherent one before picking up and going up into the skies and daring you to keep up. It asks questions and on this other end of the screen, you are embroiled in this warp of time as you try to put all the pieces in place.
