Oscar 2017 Live: Hacksaw Ridge wins Two Oscar so far- Best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing 

Director Mel Gibson was left ecstatic as his film Hacksaw Ridge won two Oscars for Best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing at the Academy Awards on Sunday night.The 61-year-old’s historical drama is up for six gongs at the esteemed awards, including Best Director, Best Picture and Best Actor. Peter Grace, Robert Mackenzie, Kevin O’Connell and Andy Wright took the stage to collect their statuettes for Best Sound Mixing. Mel Gibson was left ecstatic as his film Hacksaw Ridge won the Oscar for Best Sound Mixing at the Academy Awards on Sunday night. He was also seen fist pumping the air as John Gilbert later took home the award for Best Film Editing.
